The Bottle: A Dialogue

“Kick your shoes off and do not fear. Bring that bottle over hear,” said Jim.
“Jim, stop rhyming, you dumbass.” Jim ignored him and poured himself a shot of Jack.
He had had a stressful night at the police station and was ready to relax.
“I am tired of seeing dead people,” said Jim. “Dead people and transsexuals.”
“How do you know I’m not one?” asked Rita.
“You know how I know,” Jim said with a wink.
“I can’t believe I have forgotten,” said Rita, exhaling a bong rip.
“How could you forget the ball-pit,” inquired Jim. Rita ran away sobbing. Jim started drinking from the bottle.
